Our company was founded in 1998, but the beginnings of Master Painter of NC go back much farther than that. At age 12, Henry Webb was introduced to painting by his older brother who was working on a painting back in 1982. He started working for his brother during the summer times when school was out.
Most 12-year-old boys do not dream of starting a business, but it did not take long for this one to realize that painting was what he wanted to do. Henry honed his skills in his early teens and learned every trick of the trade while helping his older brother make money. During these times, his desire to have his own painting company grew immensely.
Building the Business
At age 28, Henry took action to start his own painting business. He decided to name the business Master Painter of NC, had cards printed, and began his entrepreneurial journey.
Henry’s first project was an apartment complex. Later, he started taking on more painting jobs from his family, friends, and neighbors. Word of mouth spread quickly of the conscientious work put behind every brushstroke, and the business thrived.
Being driven to be the best, Henry then took his career to the next level. He started marketing his business, and work became so steady he had to hire a couple of painters.
